Maarten is a seasoned marketing leader with over 25 years of global experience in integrated marketing communications and operations. He honed his expertise at leading advertising agencies including JWT, Leo Burnett, and McCann-Erickson, before transitioning to prominent client-side roles.
At The Coca-Cola Company, he was instrumental in developing and implementing the first global Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) framework, pioneering a new agency remuneration model and leading IMC for major initiatives like the Coca-Cola Zero launch and global sports sponsorships (FIFA World Cup, Olympics).
As Global VP of Integrated Marketing at AB-InBev, he standardized integrated marketing approaches worldwide, managed the 2010 FIFA World Cup activation, and helped restructure marketing departments in key markets.
Since 2013, Maarten has served as a C-Suite consultant, specializing in Marketing Operations, Agency Optimization and Marketing Capabilities. As co-founder of Flock Associates USA Inc., he has advised major clients such as McDonald's, J&J, Toyota/Lexus, and others, designing and implementing integrated marketing models.
Maarten lives with wife and dog just outside Charlotte, NC.
